I only mention carbonite because I use it myself and it saved me 3 times in the last 10 years when I ran my consultancy. She did not have timemachine set up, did not have any of her files backed up and because of that, lost everything… photos, music, and saddest of all, her entire senior design project that she had worked weeks on.
